Join us Sundays at 10:30am - 3307 Wishart Road.

cleaning2If you’re able to help out with church cleaning on this next schedule (covers approximately the next 5 months), please send Shannon a note (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and she will add you to our new cleaning schedule. Church cleaning generally takes 1 to 1.5 hours on a Saturday, and since we have the pre-school renting and caring for the downstairs, it is basically only the upstairs to take care of.

You’ll always be scheduled with someone else so you aren’t there alone, and you won’t be scheduled more than 3 or 4 times over the course of the 5 month time frame. There is a list of what needs to be done on a bi-weekly basis so expectations are clear. Families, couples, young adults – this is a great opportunity to serve.

“It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows.”  Galatians 5:13 MSG

It is a blessing to serve God and one another this way!

reminderThank you to the ladies of the Wednesday morning Bible study group for supplying wonderful baskets of goodies for our church members who are shut-ins.

I dropped off a large basket of goodies to Evelyn Ford at Gorge Hospital, and she was more than delighted, not so much for the cookies, but that she was remembered. We shared tea and a cookie (who made those amazing almond bars?) We shared laughter, and I told her stories of my family. She loves company. It brings her joy in the midst of a very boring existence of lying motionless in bed, alone except for the care aids who work amazingly hard.

christmasmangerThis Sunday is our Christmas pageant Sunday.

We're told that now only are the kids going to be helping lead worship, there is also something in the works to involve us all!

We hope you'll come and receive a blessing on this last Sunday of Advent.
