sunrise_2009With sunrise at 6:30am, Easter Sunday morning greated many early risers with steady rain.  However, down at the Lagoon the precipitation was very light as 11 Westsiders gathered to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus by reading Luke 24:1-12.  Hymns were sung and prayers lifted to God in thanksgiving for the new life  that the resurrection brings all who trust in Jesus' death for their sins.
The Lord is Risen!
