The Lord is Risen! Westside had it?s second Easter Sunday sunrise service today. While much of the greater Victoria area was experiencing rain, down at the Esquimalt Lagoon there was only sprinkles as 11 mostly awake souls gathered to to remember together the events of that first resurrection Sunday.
After skeptically watching Pastor Tim start a fire with a pile of very wet wood, some cardboard, and a pile of leftover Good Friday bulletins, those gathered listened to the Luke?s Gospel account of the resurrection morning and day. After that the group sang two hymns together and then proceeded on their way . . .
